Deane sketches design possibilities

Treat yourself!  Please join us next Saturday, September 15th, at Freeport’s 14th Annual Fall in the Village Art and Music Festival, on the L. L. Bean Campus.  As you chat with a few Brown Goldsmiths all-stars, watch Deane, our head goldsmith, at work.  He’ll be crafting the pendant sketched (below right) in rose, white and yellow gold with natural fancy color Diamonds.*

Stop by the Brown Goldsmiths tent (near the giant Bean Boot) when you first arrive at the Festival.  Later, after enjoying the many other artists and their impressive work, come on back to check The Pendant’s progress.

Just one week later we’ll unveil Deane’s sparkling creation in honor of our 45th Anniversary Celebration.  *As part of the festivities we’ll show off an exquisite collection of rare natural Fancy Color Diamonds and Fancy Color Diamond Jewelry.  You’re invited!

R. J. Hauy, father of modern Mineralogy and Crystallography, wrote in 1817, “Gems are the flowers of the mineral kingdom and the fancy color diamond is the orchid…”   So join us again, if you can, for a rainbow of Diamonds feast, Friday and Saturday, September 21 – 22, at our showroom on 11 Mechanic Street, downtown Freeport.
